Potlakaya palu kura (snake gourd gravy curry)



Ingredients:
Snake gourd/potlakaya - 2 cups
Salt
Turmeric pwd- 1/4 tsp
Red chilli pwd- 1 tsp
Milk-1 cup
Oil
For tadka: mustard seeds,cumin seeds, red chillies,channa dal,urad dal and curry leaves

Procedure:
1. Heat oil and do the tadka. Once they splutter add potlakaya pieces and cook covered till they become soft.
2. Then add turmeric,salt and red chilli pwd and fry till raw flavor is lost.
3. Add milk and cook covered till milk reduces to half.
