My nanamma makes very yummy Tapilentu. This roti is so spicy that you can just eat without any sauce or chutney. But if want something on the side then I would suggest onion chutney. Its a great accompaniment with Tea or Coffee. It doesn't take much time to cook.
Ingredients:
Rice flour-2 cups
Green Chillies-4 or 5
Ginger- a small piece
Coriander leaves
Onions
Jeera
Salt
Method:
1. Grind green chillies,ginger and coriander leaves into a paste.
2.Mix the above paste and onions with the flour and make it into chapathi like dough(not so hard though) with water.
2. Make balls from the dough and roll them into small chapathis with your fingers on a plastic sheet.
3. Heat tawa and pour little oil on it and cook the chapathi. Apply little ghee after it is fried.
