Ingredients:
Sorakaya pieces-1 cup
Channa dal- 2 tsp
Urad dal - 1 tsp
Coriander seeds-2 tsp
Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
Red chillies -4 or 5
Tamarind paste-1 tsp
Salt
Procedure:
1. Heat oil and fry the dals,seeds and red chillies till dals turn red. Keep them aside.
2. In the same oil cook sorakaya pieces with the lid covered.
3. Grind everything after they are cooled along with tamarind,salt.
4. Do the tadka and add to chutney. If you like garlic and jaggery can also be added while grinding.
