Chamadumpa pulusu(taro root stew)


Ingredients:
Chamadumpa-10
Onions-1
Green chillies-2
Tamarind paste-2 tsp
Salt
Sambar powder-1 tsp
Jaggery-1 tsp
Rice flour- 1 to 2 tsp

Procedure:
  1. Pressure cook chamadumpa.
  2. Heat oil and add mustard seeds,cumin seeds, red chillies,curry leave and hing and wait till they splatter.
  3. Fry onion and chillies.Later add chamadumpa and fry a little.
  4. Add tamarind paste and bring it to boil.Add salt,sambar powder,jaggery and water and bring it to boil.
  5. If the stew is too thin then mix rice flour with water and add it to the stew and boil for 5 minutes.
