Mango Basundi

This dish is very special because I won a prize for this in the diwali cooking competition. I won the prize for best taste.




Ingredients:
Milk-4 cups
Condensed milk-1 cup
Mangoes-2
Cardamom powder-1/2 tsp

Procedure:
  1. Boil milk till it is thick and creamy.
  2. Add condensed milk and boil for 30 minutes. There is no need to add sugar as condensed milk has lots of sugar in it.
  3. Peel mangoes and grind one mango into puree.
  4. Let the milk cool off and then add mango puree and put in the fridge.
  5. Cut the other mango into small chunks and garnish basundi with mango chunks and serve chilled.
