Carrot rice



Ingredients:
Rice:1 cup
Carrots-3
Onion-1
Oil-2 tsp
Salt
Cinnamon
Cloves-3

For masala:
Coriander seeds-1 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds-3/4 tsp
Red chillies-4
Dry coconut powder- 5 tsp

1. Dry roast the masala ingredients and grind.
2. Grate carrots.
3. Heat oil in a pan and add cloves, cinnamon and oinion and fry till onions turn light brown.
4. Add grated carrots and fry.
5. Add masala powder and salt and fry till the raw flavor is lost and mix it with cooked rice.
Serve with raita.
