Nimmakaya pappu charu(Lemon rasam)

I learnt this from my sister. She makes it with toor dal.



Ingredients:
Moong dal-1 cup
Onion-1 chopped fine
Green chillies-5 chopped fine
Lemon-1
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Salt

For Seasoning: Mustard seeds, cumin seeds, red chillies and curry leaves

Procedure:
1.Boil moon dal with turmeric powder.
2.Heat oil in a pan and add seasoning stuff.
3.After they splatter add onions and chillies and fry till onion turn brown.
4. Add the above mixture to moong dal. Add 2 cups water and salt and bring it to boil.
5.Turn off the stove and add lemon juice.
