Happy Birthday Lord Krishna. Today's special include Mamidikaya pulihora, Daddojanam and atukula payasam

Mamidikaya Pulihora( Mango Rice)
Ingredients:
Raw Mango-1
Rice-2 cups
Green Chillies-6
Ginger- a small piece
salt
Peanuts-1/4 cup
Curry leaves
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Cumin Seeds-1/2 tsp
Red chillies-1/2 tsp
Channa dal-2 tsp
Urad dal-1 tsp

1.Grind Mango,green chillies and ginger.
2. Add turmeric and little oil to the rice and cook. After it is done mix the above paste with rice and add salt.
3.Heat oil in a pan and add remaining ingredients.After they are done add them to the rice.

Daddojanam( Curd Rice):
Rice-1 cup
Curd-2 cups
Milk-1/2 cup
salt
For seasoning:mustard seeds,cumin seeds,red chillies,channa dal,urad dal,pepper seeds,curry leaves and a small piece of ginger.

1.Cook rice and add curd,milk and salt to it after it cools off.
2.Heat oil in a pan and add seasoning stuff.

Atukula Payasam:
Atukulu or poha-1/2 cup
Milk-2 1/2 cups
Sugar-1 cup
Cardamom powder-1/4 tsp

1.Wash poha and let them dry for 10 mins.
2.Boil milk and add poha.cook till milk reduces to half.
3.Add sugar and elaichi powder.
4.Take ghee in a pan and fry cashews and raisins and add it to milk.
