Ingredients:
Chamadumpa or Taro root-10
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Red chilli powder-1 tsp
Salt
1.Pressure cook taro root for 2 whistles and then peel the skin and cut them into round pieces.
2.Heat about 6 tsp oil and fry them. After they are fried add salt and red chilli powder.
3.If you want them more crispy then deep fry them.
This is a great combination with Sambar.
Tip: I am using Ziplock's steamer bags for boiling taro root and it is really helping me a lot cause with pressure cooker some of them boil well and some are half boiled.
