Ingredients:
Rice-2 cups
Mixed vegetables(carrot,peas,potatoes,beans)- 1 cup
Cinnamon-2 " stick
Cloves-6
Cardamom-3
Shahjeera-1/2 tsp
Onion-1
Ginger-garlic paste-1/2 tsp
Mint leaves-1/2 bunch
Green Chillies-6 cut into small pieces.
Food colour- a pinch
Salt
1.Heat ghee and add cinnamon,cloves,cardamom,shahjeera. After they are fried add ginger-garlic paste.
2. Add onions, chillies and mint leaves.
3.After they are fried well add washed rice,salt,food color and finally add water( for 1 cup rice add 2 cups water).let the rice cook.
4. Garnish with coriander leaves and roasted cashews.
Serve with Aloo kurma or bhagara bhaingan
