Beerakaya masala pulusu(Ridge gourd stew)


Ingredients:
Beerakaya/ridge gourd-1
Onion-1
Tomatoes-2
Ginger-garlic paste-1/2 tsp
Coconut-1/4 cup
Cloves-5
Cinnamon-1 inch stick
Poppy seeds-1 tsp
Coriander powder-2 tsp
Red chilli powder-1 tsp
Coriander leaves
Salt

1.Grind all the above ingredients except for beerakaya.
2. Heat oil and add seasoning stuff. After they splatter and masala and fry till raw flavor is lost.
3.Add beerakaya pieces and salt. Add 2 cups water and boil till the pieces are well cooked.

Taste good with roti and rice.
