Upma



Ingredients:
Semonlina/sooji/Rava-1 cup
Water-3 cups
Onion-1
Green chillies-2
Ginger-a small piece
Vegetables-Aloo,carrot,peas
For seasoning:Mustard seeds, cumin seeds, channa dal, urad dal,hing and curry leaves

Procedure:
1.Dry roast rava till the raw smell is gone.By doing this you won't get lumps when you add rava to the water.
2.Heat oil in a vessel and add seasoning stuff.Once they splatter add ginger,green chillies,onions and veggies.
3.When they are fried add water and salt.Bring it to boil.
4.Slowly add rava while stirring continously. Add ghee and garnish with roasted cashews.
